GreenSlot Inc. ("GreenSlot," "we," "our") operates the GreenSlot platform — a marketplace connecting homeowners with independent lawn-care professionals. Our platform is accessible at greenslot.netlify.app and through related apps and services.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information you provide directly

- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, clicks, session duration.
- Device info: Browser type, OS, IP address, device identifiers.
- Location data: Approximate location inferred from IP; precise location only with your explicit permission.
- Cookies and similar trackers: See Section 8.
C. Information from third parties
- Property records: Publicly available county assessor data used to estimate lot sizes. We do not store raw government records.
- Payment processors: Stripe shares transaction status and payout confirmations with us.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Providing the service: Matching homeowners with Pros, processing bookings, sending confirmations and reminders.
- Billing & payments: Processing subscription fees, job payments, and payouts to Pros.
- Platform improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve features and fix bugs.
- Safety & fraud prevention: Detecting and preventing fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, and abuse.
- Communications: Sending booking confirmations, service updates, and (where permitted) marketing messages. You may opt out of marketing at any time.
- Legal compliance: Complying with applicable laws, responding to lawful requests from government authorities.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion:
- Profile data is deleted within 30 days.
- Transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including 256-bit TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and access controls that limit who can view your data. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never store raw card numbers.
No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@greenslot.app.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of marketing: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email, or contact us.
- California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

8. Cookies & Tracking
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function (session management, authentication, language preference). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Used to understand how users interact with our platform. You may opt out via your browser settings or a cookie banner.
- No advertising cookies: We do not use cookies to serve targeted ads. GreenSlot products are ad-free.
Your language preference is stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) under the key greenslot_lang. This data never leaves your device.
9. Children's Privacy
GreenSlot is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us their information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform for material changes. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
